Rising middle-class people has led to mushrooming business opportunities in lifestyle industry. One of the characteristics of the middle-class people is that they have shifted from good consumption to leisure economy. Lifestyle industry includes businesses on food and drink, wellness, cinema, e-commerce and fashion. According to McKinsey, by 2030 Indonesia will see additional 90 million customers with considerable spending power. Indonesia is predicted to enjoy economic growth, making the country more attractive for investors.

Selenggarakan Indonesia Coffee Events (ICE) 2017, Barista Guild Indonesia Targetkan Wakil Indonesia Masuk 10 Besar di Ajang Kejuaraan Dunia

Jakarta, 8 Nopember 2016Barista Guild of Indonesia (BGI), organisasi profesi Barista se-Indonesia dipercaya oleh Specialty Coffee Association of Indonesia (SCAI) untuk mengorganisir Indonesia Coffee Events (ICE) 2017, rangkaian kompetisi kebaristaan dilaksanakan guna memberikan apresiasi tertinggi untuk profesi barista di Indonesia, salah satu ujung tombak industri kopi dunia. Terdapat 4 kompetisi yang akan dipertandingkan yaitu Indonesia Barista Championship (IBC), Indonesia Brewers Championship (IBrC), Indonesia Latte Art Championship (ILAC) dan Indonesia Cup Tasters Championship (ICTC). Kompetisi ini akan diselenggarakan keenam kalinya di Indonesia. Adapaun sanctioned atau hak persetujuan dari kejuaraan ini, di Indonesia dipegang oleh SCAI, yang diberikan oleh World Coffee Events (WCE). Read more
